Terra Nova Truss has made a significant investment in product and service quality initiatives.

In January of 2004, Terra Nova Truss hired a management consulting firm to assess our business practices on safety, quality control, production and scheduling controls, hiring procedures, inventory control, estimating, budgeting and overhead.

Through their assessment a number of new procedures and controls were implemented. This has resulted in improvements in our overall product quality and service and in the creation of our Truss Production Scheduler. With this program we are able to schedule deliveries and schedule daily production to utilize the shop time to our customer’s advantage.

We have also introduced into our product line Nordic Pre engineered Wood I-Beam.

The Wood I-Beam has complimented our ability to meet our customer’s need for engineered floor product. We now have a competitive solution for all designs presented to us.
